Update v0.7.1 & recent changelog
Small patch to fix some of the most critical bugs that have been reported thus far - I'm on to doing more backend work to optimize and refine the collision system!
Additionally, while I no longer have the space (or collapsable text options) for the full changelog on the main itch page, I'll be posting recent changelogs with these devlog posts here for people to read! The full changelog will always be included with the download.
And one last note, v0.7 saves SHOULD be fine with v0.7.1, but I can offer no guarentees of this because I did still have to adjust the save scripts.
v0.7.1
~ fixed an issue where survival experience wasn't being saved
~ fixed a bug where enhanced acids used the wrong DNA cost
~ fixed a minor bug that caused the toss n swallow animation to loop incorrectly
~ fixed a set of engine bugs regarding an update to how the instance_destroy() function executes
~ fixed graphical error with screen transitions
~ tweaked/slightly optimized wall colliders in both levels
~ slightly revised bits of each level towards the boundary of the screen so the UI wouldn't cover as much
~ game window will no longer automatically resize when changing levels

"I" to trigger indigestion
numpad "+" to add 10 HP
numpad "." to add 10 max HP
numpad "8" to add 20 to indigestion meter
~ updated debugger variables
+ added watermark/version number
~ corrected a long standing error that caused games to save twice when using f8 and possibly causing errors
~ fixed a bug that looped the regurgitate animation if performed immediately after swallowing an enemy
~ updated readme (check for info on gene editors)
